Privacy for young learners

This page explains a supervised Cursare account in simpler words. You can also read our full Privacy Policy or ask a trusted adult to read it with you.

What we know about you

• Your name and email, so your account works.
• A broad age group, not your exact birthday.
• Your courses, answers, progress and certificates.
• A total of active learning time for each day, not a list of lessons you visited.

We do not keep copies of identity documents, face scans, fingerprints, or the raw response from the company that checked age in the normal Cursare product.

What your responsible adult can see

Your responsible adult can see your courses, whether access is active, how many learning steps you completed, your certificates, and your daily learning-time total. They may set a daily limit and approve a course for you. They cannot pretend to be you, answer activities, erase your progress, or change your certificates.

Protections on your account

Public profiles, public reviews, course discussions, file questions, advertising profiles, direct marketing, and organization analytics or advertising tags are turned off. A school cannot turn these protections off for your account.

Your choices

• You can see who supervises your account.
• You can dispute a relationship that is wrong.
• You can report a safety, privacy, age, relationship, course, or content problem.
• You keep the same account and learning history when an approved review makes it adult.
